The Illusion of Reality
One day it will have to be officially admitted
that what we have christened reality is an even greater illusion than the world of dreams
Everything we call real is made of things that cannot be regarded as real.
The elementary particles themselves are not real;
they form a world of potentialities or possibilities rather than one of things or facts.
Some physicists would prefer to come back to the idea of an objective real world
whose smallest parts exist objectively
in the same sense as stones or trees exist independently of whether we observe them.
That, however, is impossible.
